Here is an article from Times Union about the Refugees in the area. They are in dire need of volunteers. While it is not directly related to slavery, it is certainly something we could do to get out there and help!

That is really interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that she is an Emma graduate (from class of '99--so fairly recent) and her agency of 10 wants to recruit more volunteers makes it seem like it wouldn't be too hard to contact her. I think it's worth looking in to (maybe not as a whole group though).
